Task
The client wanted an interactive interview-prep platform for web developers that's easy to work through and to expand. We mapped the run-through scenarios, the question format, and how to track progress. We fixed the requirement that the base be simple to extend.
Solution
We built a React interface with a question system, progress tracking, and easy navigation. We designed the structure so the question base would be easy to extend, and tuned the interface behavior right on the working build. We checked the run-through experience across devices.
Result
The platform shows high engagement and maintains a regularly growing question base. Preparation feels comfortable, and adding new questions requires no rework.
Approach & decisions
The main thing was making the run-through engaging while keeping it simple to maintain. We designed the question and progress system so users see forward movement and the team can add new material easily. We separately worked on navigation so returning to topics stays convenient.
How we ran the project
- 01
Discussion & requirements
We get on a call with the client, map the goals, audience and constraints, and fix the scope of work.
- 02
Planning
We work out the structure, user scenarios and architecture, and choose technologies that fit the task.
- 03
Prototype in code
We build a working prototype directly in code and align the interface on a live version — not on static mockups.
- 04
Development
We write code in iterations, show progress regularly and keep the client in the loop.
- 05
Testing & launch
We test across devices and scenarios, then roll out to production.
- 06
Support & growth
We stay in touch, maintain the product and keep developing it further.
